We have been offering a counselling service in Highland Region since 1961. 

Couple Counselling
We provide a confidential counselling service for people who are experiencing difficulties in their intimate personal relationship.  Where a relationship has broken down, the counsellor will help the partners cope with the pain and address the issues surrounding their separation.  This service is available to couples or individuals.

All clients who can do so are asked to make a contribution towards the cost of each counselling session although no one is ever turned away because they cannot afford to. 

Marriage Counselling Highland is registered with the Inland Revenue's Gift Aid where for every pound donated, the Inland Revenue will give an extra 28p providing the donation is from a client paying income tax.

Options Counselling
This is a fast track counselling service for clients who can afford to pay the full cost of £27 per session.  Under this service clients will be offered a counselling session sooner.

Psychosexual Therapy
Each session costs us £30 and we ask clients to make a contribution towards the cost of this specialist service.  A leaflet is available by ringing our appointments secretary on 01463-712888.

Marriage Counselling Highland is looking for persons interested in training as couple counsellors.  Candidates should have prior training in basic counselling skills.

Trained counsellors who are not couple counsellors would be considered for inclusion in an ACCEPT (Access to couple counselling especially for the previously trained) Scheme.  For details please contact Marriage Counselling Highland or Couple Counselling Scotland on 0845 119 6088.
