5 day, 40 hour courses:
This introductory training in counselling skills is useful in a wide variety of helping roles. It would be useful to frontline/reception staff, to care workers, charity workers and health service staff amongst others. It would be useful to anyone whose work (paid or unpaid) involves listening to others in an attentive and supportive manner and responding to feelings expressed. It is particularly useful for those working with people in distress. Couple Counselling Scotland has a long history of offering quality counselling training at all levels. The course is led by qualified counsellors with many years training experience in this field.
The couple perspective will enable participants to use counselling skills with more than one person at the same time. Some may wish to train further to become couple counsellors and our certificate, or its equivalent, is a prerequisite for entry onto the CCS Diploma in Couple Counselling Course.

no-one should be deterred from applying. However, participants must be prepared
